SAN ANTONIO – As many as five vehicles were involved in a crash on the city’s Northeast Side early Tuesday morning, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The crash happened just after 6 a.m. on the O’Connor Road bridge, near North Weidner Road.
According to police, the crash occurred after the vehicles skidded on ice. No injuries were reported.
SAPD has since shut down the bridge. A bridge on Judson Road not far from the crash scene also has been closed due to ice.
Temperatures on Tuesday reportedly dipped to near or below freezing across northern parts of Bexar County.
