ACS’s Community Animal Support and Assistance (CASA) team was assisting residents when they found two of the puppies near a drainpipe in a ditch. With concerns looming about the puppies’ safety, they were brought in for care, the shelter said.
A third puppy was found nearby, hiding, and was also taken to the shelter.
After being examined, all three puppies were said to be in good health and just needed a safe place to stay, the shelter said.
A few hours later, the puppies were taken in by the Spay-Neuter-Inject-Protect San Antonio, Inc. (SNIPSA). After receiving care, they’re all now tick-free, healthy and ready to find their forever families.
