SAN ANTONIO – Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is going on a “hiring blitz” this month to fill positions for the 2023 season.
The waterpark said it is hiring for more than 2,000 jobs during its recruiting campaign, which runs from Feb. 18-24, according to a news release.

The jobs include lifeguards, security guards, housekeepers, food and beverage associates and more. There are positions available for applicants as young as 14 years old in some departments, the release states.
“Our seasonal associates play an important role in our mission of delivering amazing experiences to all of our guests,” General Manager Darren Hill said in the release. “We’re proud to offer highly competitive wages, amazing perks, and a fun atmosphere, along with teaching and enhancing essential life skills through a variety of seasonal jobs available.”
The hourly pay ranges between $14-$20. Perks include discounts, rewards, access to exclusive events, free meals and free admission to parks, the release adds.
