Man used stolen credit card to buy $4,000 in electronics at Best Buy, New Braunfels police say

Reward offered for info leading to arrest

SAN ANTONIOS – The New Braunfels Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who they say used a stolen credit card to buy items from Best Buy.

Police said the man bought around $4,000 worth of electronics from Best Buy on Creekside Way on March 6.

He used a credit card that had just been stolen at Planet Fitness in the 1600 block of Interstate 35 South, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or the Comal County Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers is willing to pay up to $4,000 for information leading to an arrest or indictment

Tips can be made by calling Crime Stoppers at 830-620-TIPS (8477), by leaving a tip online at comalcrimestoppers.org, or by sending a tip using the “P3 Tips” smartphone app.
