SAN ANTONIO – After staying open through months of construction, help is finally coming for some San Antonio businesses that say they are struggling.
The COVID Construction Recovery Grant Program funds will reportedly start going out soon.
Now that the first recipients have been notified, the city’s economic development department says the grant money will be disbursed once the businesses submit their paperwork.
City officials said 218 businesses applied for assistance, with the most applications coming from establishments on the St. Mary’s Strip.
The city said notifications would go out through May, with the final funds to be released by early June.
