Police said the teen woke up to someone in all black, wearing a ski mask standing over him with a knife in his hand and his Nintendo gaming system in the other.

That’s when the teen attempted to grab the knife from the suspect but was cut during the scuffle. The teen told police the suspect dropped the knife after striking him in the face.

The victim then threw the knife at the suspect as they took off downstairs, said police.

The suspect stole a TV and other items before they fled the apartment out of a separate window.

SAPD said the victim had non-life-threatening injuries and refused EMS at the scene.
