SAN ANTONIO – A man is dead after San Antonio police said he was struck by a vehicle while lying down on the road overnight near downtown.
The crash happened at 10 p.m., Friday, in the 1500 block of N. Zarzamora Street.
Police said the man was lying in the left lane when he was hit by a silver 2013 Nissan Altima.
The driver did stop to help the man, but when EMS arrived, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity hasn’t been released.
SAPD said the driver will not face any criminal charges.
