Man hit, killed in Seguin after getting out of his vehicle on I-10

SEGUIN, Texas – A man was killed Thursday night after he exited his vehicle on Interstate 10 in Seguin and was hit by two vehicles.

Police said the fatality happened just after 10 p.m. near mile marker 606 in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10.

The victim, Felix Isaac DelaRosa, 32, exited his Dodge Durango in the grass median of the interstate when he was hit by the two vehicles. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The occupants of the other vehicles were transported by Seguin EMS to a local hospital in stable condition.

Seguin police said there was damage to DelaRosa’s vehicle that indicates he may have hit a guardrail prior to getting out of his vehicle.

The investigation remains ongoing.
