San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are searching for a man who they say assaulted another man following a car crash on July 16 at Interstate 35 North and North Walters Street. (Crime Stoppers)

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are searching for a man who they say assaulted another man following a car crash.

A Crime Stoppers report states that the crash happened at around 6:50 p.m. on July 16 at Interstate 35 North and North Walters Street.

The cars stopped on I-35 following the crash, and an unknown male driver assaulted the other male driver, 48, with a knife, police said.

The suspect was driving a white, early 2000s GMC Yukon with a grey trim on the bottom. The vehicle may have front-end damage due to the crash, police said.

Police released surveillance photos of a man they believe is the suspect in the case and they are asking anyone with information about him to contact authorities.

Crime Stoppers is willing to pay up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
