SAN ANTONIO – Four kittens and a dog were rescued during a fire at a West Side home on Tuesday night.
San Antonio firefighters said the fire started at around 11:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Riverdale Drive, not far from NW 36th Street and West Woodlawn Avenue.

Three sheds, two vehicles and the back of a house were damaged in the fire, and firefighters rescued four kittens and a dog.
No injuries were reported.
SAFD is looking into the cause of the fire.
