CANYON LAKE, Texas – The Comal County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting death of a 62-year-old man.
According to a press release from CCSO, it happened on Tuesday morning in the 400 block of Deer Valley Street in Canyon Lake.

A woman called the sheriff’s office at about 7 a.m. saying she was in a physical altercation with her boyfriend, CCSO stated.
When deputies arrived, they found a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
He was identified as Edward Canales.
The CCSO press release stated that a woman was brought to the sheriff’s office for questioning. CCSO called her a suspect but said no arrests had been made.
