UVALDE, Texas – The Uvalde Consolidated School District’s Athletic Department has unveiled a new state-of-the-art weight room.
The upgrade came in due time as the department was resorting to spray painting to upkeep its old equipment.
The generational upgrade is part of the “Iron Sharps Iron” program created by the Texas High School Coaches Association and funded by a generous benefactor, Fin Ewing.
Ewing’s $200,000 donation turned weight room will impact many athletes.
