KCSO officials said that Heimer had communications of a sexual nature with an undercover officer that ultimately led to a planned meeting in the parking lot of a business located in the 1400 block of State Highway 173.

But when officers tried to stop Heimer’s vehicle, he took off and led officers on a 33-mile chase that reached speeds over 100 mph, KCSO said. The chase ended after officers planted some spikes on a road in Bandera County that disabled the suspect’s vehicle.

Heimer was arrested and charged with one count of online solicitation of a minor and one count of evading arrest.

He is being held in the Kerr County Jail in lieu of a $60,000 bond.
