The Artist-in-Residence program allows for the creative use of STEM in young minds. Through the program, artists are invited to capture children’s imaginations across San Antonio and design a miniature landscape that can be cherished as part of the city’s holiday traditions.

The chosen artist will not only receive a $1,000 stipend, but also a $3,000 production budget to bring their idea into existence.

The application deadline is July 20 and must include a 300-word interest letter and a portfolio showcasing miniature artistry.

The artist requirements and more information are available on the DoSeum’s Artist-in-Residence website.
