SAN ANTONIO – A driver is in the hospital following a rollover vehicle crash in far West Bexar County early Tuesday morning, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 14640 block of Potranco Road, found outside of Loop 1604 and near Highway 211.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies arrived to the rollover crash but were unable to find anyone. BCSO search the area on foot and had the Eagle fly over the area in attempt to find the driver. The SAPD K9 unit also assisted in their search.
BCSO said around 3 a.m. the crash victim was eventually found after they had walked into a wounded area. The person was taken by ambulance to an area hospital and their condition is not currently known.
A preliminary report of the crash said the vehicle was the only one involved. There were no other reported injuries. It is not immediately clear as to why the crash occurred.
