Two-vehicle rollover closes Loop 1604 for several hours, SAPD says

Highway was reopened early Wednesday morning

SAN ANTONIO – A two-vehicle rollover crash along Loop 1604 on the North Side briefly closed the highway in both directions late Wednesday night, according to San Antonio police.

The crash occurred on Loop 1604 near Bulverde Road just before midnight.

Both sides of the highway were closed because a vehicle had ended up on the other side, according to SAPD.

Firefighters did pull someone from one of the vehicles, and that person was taken to the hospital.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

Officials with the Texas Department of Transportation confirmed the highway had reopened early Thursday morning and that the crash was not fatal.

This is a developing story. KSAT will update this as more information is available.
