SAN ANTONIO – UPDATE (12/14/2024): Two teen suspects arrested in connection with a kidnapping incident on the West Side of San Antonio were identified Saturday.
Anthony Enoch Brown, 18, and Aris Manresa Teixeira, 19, are charged with aggravated kidnapping with a deadly weapon and evading arrest, Bexar County court records show.

Brown and Teixeira were taken into SAPD’s custody with the help of the department’s helicopter.
As of Saturday afternoon, jail records indicate Brown is still in custody at the Bexar County Adult Detention Center while Teixeira has since bonded out.
San Antonio police said it is still searching for two other people believed to be involved in the incident who fled on foot while officers were in pursuit.
The victim of the kidnapping was eventually found in the suspect’s vehicle with facial injuries after being pistol-whipped, police said.

ORIGINAL STORY: A kidnapping incident on the West Side resulted in the arrest of two teen suspects and left a 22-year-old man injured, according to San Antonio police.
Officers were dispatched to a missing person call on Pipers Creek late Wednesday night after the victim’s parents reported their son had called, saying he needed $3,000 or he would be killed.
While officers were at the scene, the victim’s vehicle arrived with four suspects and the victim inside.
Upon seeing the officers, the suspects fled with the victim still in the car. Police later spotted the vehicle on Potranco Road near Highway 151 and attempted a traffic stop, but the suspects continued southbound.
The vehicle eventually stopped on Historic Old Highway 90, where the suspects fled on foot.
Officers, with assistance from the police helicopter, apprehended a 19-year-old woman and an armed 18-year-old man, according to SAPD.
The victim was found in the vehicle with facial injuries, reportedly from being pistol-whipped, police said.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities search for the two remaining suspects.
