In total, 915 children between the ages of newborn to 17 received new coats and winterwear for the upcoming winter season.
United Way originally called on the public to donate 700 children’s coats for their drive. Residents were able to donate coats online or in-person at various locations throughout the city. Thanks to donations, United Way surpassed their goal by over 200 coats.
