The Pink Berets and the Texas Sugar Daddies are thrilled to invite female veterans, their families, friends and community members to a special evening of culture, cuisine, and connection!

They proudly present the first-ever Tamalada Culinary Event — a night where tradition, flavor, and fun create an unforgettable experience in South San Antonio.

Have you ever wanted to learn the art of making tamales? Now is your chance! Guided by experienced chefs and passionate home cooks, participants will dive into the hands-on experience of tamale-making, from preparing the masa to wrapping the perfect tamale.

Whether a first-timer or a seasoned cook, you’ll enjoy this interactive and delicious activity.

Tamales are more than just a dish; they symbolize heritage, family and community.

As participants craft these tasty treats, they will hear captivating stories and learn about this cherished tradition’s history and cultural significance.
