The San Antonio Spurs and Pluckers Wing Bar has announced a new partnership that will benefit game-goers beginning in January.

The Austin-founded sports bar and chicken wing restaurant will open a concession stand at Section 222 on the Balcony Level in Frost Bank Center. The stand will open next month for all home games and arena events.

In celebration of the new partnership, The Spurs and Pluckers are introducing a new “5 Assists, 5 Free Wings” promotion. This begins tomorrow as the Spurs host the Atlanta Hawks. If the Spurs team collectively records five or more assists within the second quarter of the game, all fans in attendance will get a digital voucher for five free wings from Pluckers.

The promotion applies to all Spurs home games during the regular season. The voucher can be redeemed at any San Antonio area location, excluding the concession stand.

“We have been eager to partner with the Spurs since we opened our first San Antonio area location in 2018,” said David Paul, Pluckers owner. “We’re very excited to bring Pluckers food to the Frost Bank Center and give Spurs fans a chance to receive our famous five free wing coupon.”

Pluckers was founded in 1995 by two University of Texas Austin students. The brand has 13 locations across the San Antonio-Austin corridor.

“We take pride in partnering with a locally grown brand like Pluckers that has shown remarkable reach throughout our state,” said Frank Miceli, Chief Commercial Officer at Spurs Sports & Entertainment. “We appreciate this opportunity to support a business that is beloved by our Austin and San Antonio community and look forward to seeing the fans engage with this exciting new promotion and culinary offering.”
