Daughters of missing man found dead search for closure, details into father’s death

Benjamin Regalado, 64, went missing on March 18, was found dead on March 31

SAN ANTONIO – Almost nine months after the murder of a San Antonio man, his daughters are asking those with information to come forward.

Benjamin Regalado, 64, went missing on March 18. He was found dead in the 500 block of Brookview Dr. on March 31.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled Regalado’s death as a homicide, according to police.

His daughters, Ruby and Angel Regalado, spoke to us about raising awareness about the case and memories with her father.

Ruby recalls having breakfast with her dad the last day she saw him.

“My dad was an amazing person,” she said. “He had a very kind heart. He was friendly (and) always wanted to talk to people. Just wanted to get to know people and share stories about his life.”

He was a dedicated family man and hard worker, citing that the last time he was seen was when he left his job at the Lincoln Heights Paesanos.

When asked about the case, Ruby said they had very limited information about the suspects.

“I know they were using his debit card. They took all his belongings,” she said.

They asked for the person or persons to come forward or anyone who may have information.

“Any little detail might be what we need to solve what happened to my dad,” Ruby Regalado said.
