San Antonio police officers were dispatched to Paper Tiger shortly after 10 p.m. Friday.
According to an SAPD report, officers found the victim outside the venue’s entrance with multiple stab wounds throughout his body.
It is unclear how many times Guerrero may have stabbed the victim. The 21-year-old was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is expected to recover.
When they arrived at the scene, police said witnesses pointed out Guerrero — who was still at the venue and had a knife on him — to officers. He was then taken into custody.
Court records indicate that a Bexar County judge set Guerrero’s bond at $100,000. Minutes later, county jail records show he was booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center around 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
Guerrero fulfilled the bond amount, and he was released from custody around 7:45 p.m., according to the county.
Court documents show that Guerrero is expected to return to court for a hearing related to the stabbing on March 3, 2025.
