“We would go fishing a lot down at Laguna Madre,” B.L. Craighead’s daughter-in-law said.

Another woman told KSAT a story about how B.L. Craighead met his late wife decades ago as she and her friend waited for a bus to come.

“We were always fishing my whole life,” Don Craighead said. “My dad and his parents loved to fish, and he loved to fish, and every time we turned around, we were going fishing at the coast or Medina Lake.”

B.L. Craighead said he was very happy with the love his family and friends showed him on such a special day.
