SAN ANTONIO – While the year is just starting, it’s always great to know where to watch a free movie around San Antonio.
Some places have announced free movie screenings for winter and spring. These events are held throughout the year for residents to enjoy.

Here are some places where you can sit back and relax to watch family-friendly movies:
Tobin Center
The plaza released its movie schedule for the year.
Enjoy a free movie night on the second Saturday of the month at the Will Naylor Smith River Walk Plaza at the Tobin Center, located at 100 Auditorium Circle.
Attendees are recommended to bring blankets or low lawn chairs.
Full concessions and a bar will be available. No pets, food, or drinks are allowed outside on the plaza.
The plaza opens at 6 p.m., followed by the movie beginning at 7 p.m.

Tower of the Americas
The Tower of the Americas will offer free movie screenings at the base of the tower throughout the year.
Food and drinks are available for purchase.

Westfall Library
The Westfall Library hosts monthly screenings of Rotten Tomatoes’ Best Movies of All Time and has released its upcoming lineup.
Attendees can expect to watch each free movie starting at 5:30 p.m., except for the movie on June 17, at Westfall Library, located at 6111 Rosedale Ct, in the meeting room.
