Southbound I-35 at Finesilver Curve reduced to one lane for several days due to repairs

Right lane will be closed for 24 hours a day

SAN ANTONIO – Southbound Interstate 35 will be reduced to one lane at the Finesilver Curve as crews work to repair rails in downtown San Antonio.

The closure, which includes the ramp to westbound I-10, begins Monday at 9 p.m. and is expected to last through Friday, Jan. 17.

The right lane will remain closed 24 hours a day during the construction, along with entrance ramps from Elmira and San Saba streets.

Drivers should plan for delays and consider alternate routes.

The work is part of a $25.9 million project to enhance safety along 5.5 miles of I-35 and I-10. The entire project is expected to be completed by fall 2025.

TxDOT advises that all closures are weather-permitting and may change.
