Crystal City ISD to delay school due to freezing weather

The statement said staff will need to report at 8:00 a.m., while students will report to school at 9:00 a.m.

Staff and students will be allowed to dress warmly throughout the week, according to the post.

This may be due to their dress code, which, as of the 2023-2024 academic year, does not allow hats, scarves, hoods, trench coats or duster jackets unless for a medically documented reason.

Crystal City ISD said their vehicles would also be driving around for any student who needs a ride.
