SAN ANTONIO – An 11-year-old girl is recovering in the hospital after she was bit by a “large dog,” according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The incident happened Tuesday just before 4:15 p.m. in the 16500 block of Henderson Pass.

Authorities say they were dispatched to the North Side apartment complex for a report of a “large dog” that bit two people, including an 11-year-old girl.
When they arrived, they found the girl with injuries on her body. However, it’s unclear where she was bitten, as authorities didn’t provide details.
She would be transported to the hospital in stable condition.
For the other person who was reported bitten, police didn’t provide details on their identity nor if they were injured.
Lastly, at this time, it’s unclear if the dog owner of the “large dog” is facing any charges.
