San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg joined KSAT Q&A to discuss the Spurs arena after a closed-door meeting on Tuesday discussed on a possible tax vote for the downtown arena.
Bexar County voters could be asked to approve using and possibly raising an existing tax to build an arena for the San Antonio Spurs. However, it probably won’t be until this fall at the earliest.
Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai said he does not currently plan to take the action necessary to get the question on the May 3 ballot.
Nirenberg also talks about how tariffs against Mexico could affect San Antonio.
