Ticket prices for Cotton Bowl Classic slashed as cold front sweeps through Texas

Nosebleed seats lessened to half the price of what they initially sold for

ARLINGTON, Texas – Ticket prices for the upcoming Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic between Ohio State and Texas have dropped.

WFAA first reported that nosebleed ticket prices for the highly anticipated matchup at the AT&T Stadium lessened to half of what they initially sold for.

Tickets were initially so expensive that the cheapest ticket was around the same price as front-row 50-yard line seats for the Peach Bowl, Texas’ previous game.

However, ticket prices have been reduced considerably with the current cold front sweeping through Texas.

How much are ticket prices right now?

SeatGeek: $138 (previously $511) in the 400s section

TicketMaster: $124 for standing room only. $135 (previously $539) in the 400s section

VividSeats: $133 (previously $482) in the 400s section

StubHub: $105 (previously $428) for standing room only. $112 (previously $514) in the 400s section
