Man in critical condition after 2-vehicle crash, SAPD says

Police: Man in his 60s suffered medical episode prior to crash

SAN ANTONIO – A man in his 60s suffered a medical episode before a crash on Loop 410 early Friday morning, according to San Antonio police.

The crash occurred just before 6:30 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of Loop 410 near Jackson Keller, according to Transguide.

The driver who suffered the medical episode struck a second vehicle, but that driver was OK.

Police and other first responders were performing CPR on the man, who was in critical condition as of 7 a.m., police said.

Two main lanes and a shoulder are blocked near the crash, Transguide cameras showed.
