Woman hospitalized after driver intentionally hits her on East Side, police say
SAN ANTONIO – A woman was hospitalized after San Antonio police said a driver intentionally swerved onto a sidewalk and hit her on the East Side.
The crash happened around 9:40 p.m. Friday on North Mel Waiters Way near Lincoln Park, according to police.
Investigators said the woman told officers she was walking on the sidewalk when a red car intentionally swerved toward her and struck her. The driver did not stop and continued driving southbound.
No arrest has been announced. The investigation is ongoing.
