SAN ANTONIO – Police arrested 55-year-old Hal Adams on Friday following an overnight shooting, San Antonio police said Friday.
The shooting was reported just before 2 a.m. outside the Vineyard Village Apartments located in the 5000 block of Fredericksburg Road on the city's Northwest Side.
Police said Adams shot a man after hearing him argue with his girlfriend. Adams allegedly went outside to investigate the noise and ultimately ended up shooting his neighbor after exchanging words, police said.

The injured man was taken to University Hospital with a wound to the upper thigh. He's expected to recover.
Adams was taken into custody shortly after the incident, police said.
