SAN ANTONIO – A man who was shot in both legs managed to walk to a nearby gas station for help overnight, San Antonio police said Friday.
Police were called just before 9 p.m. Thursday to the 3900 block of Eisenhauer Road not far from Austin Highway on the city's Northeast Side.
Police said the victim was confronted in a vacant lot on Harlow Drive by three men just before the shooting. The man after being shot walked to a Shell gas station where he ultimately asked for help.

The victim was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center for his injuries.
Police said the man was very uncooperative when they tried to get information about who shot him and why.
