Nancy Culpepper was pulled from the water by a Navy boat, but died upon arrival at the Navy pier. Richard Culpepper was recovered from the water, but he had already died, authorities said.
The retired couple was celebrating their 66th wedding anniversary with shopping and a fishing expedition, their son, Jess Culpepper, told KSAT 12 News.
