KARNES COUNTY, Texas – People in Karnes County who thought they felt the earth shake Friday night were not mistaken.
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a minor quake west of Karnes City.
It registered 3.0 on the Richter Scale around 8:15 p.m.
Karnes County Sheriff Dwayne Villanueva told KSAT 12 that officials were checking on residents in the area Friday night, but so far no damages have been reported.
Villanueva said some people did report windows and beds shaking during the quake.
