Police seek man in aggravated robbery of Dollar General

South Side store robbed Nov. 11

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are seeking information on a man wanted with connection to an aggravated robbery at a South Side Dollar General store.

Police said a man walked into the store in at 10103 Roosevelt Avenue on Nov. 11 and asked the clerk for change.

When the clerk handed the change to the man, he demanded all the money in the register. He demanded the money again, this time displaying a semi-automatic handgun in his waistband.

The man grabbed the cash register's money tray and ran from the store. Police said he may have fled south on Roosevelt Avenue in a silver, older model Chevrolet Suburban with a black rear spoiler.

Police said the man was wearing a baseball-type cap, sunglasses, a large white T-shirt, light pants and sneakers.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the man's arrest.
