SAN ANTONIO – The U.S. Postal Service said there will be no special postal operations in San Antonio on Monday, the tax filing deadline.
“With more people filing income tax returns electronically, the post office has seen a significant decline in mail volume from last-minute tax filers,” Postmaster Willie Trawick said. “With the increasing decline in customer demand, we will not extend hours for April 18 Tax Day operations in San Antonio.”
