SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology is preparing to open its doors at Port San Antonio.
At a launch party on Wednesday night, guests wandered among exhibits that included an enigma machine and products developed in San Antonio, such as the first cellphone camera and early network computers.
The main goal of the new museum is to inspire and teach middle school and high school students about science, technology, engineering and math.
“We intend to have nonstop kind of STEM activities. Educational in many different fields,” said James Castro, CEO of SAMSAT.
The museum aims to have its educational activities ready for the fall semester.
