DALLAS – H-E-B has announced the opening date for its second Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex location just weeks after enthusiasts flocked to the opening of the area’s first store.
The store in Plano is scheduled to open at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, according to a news release from Monday.

The San Antonio-based chain said that customers can begin their online orders two days before the grand opening.
“At 118,000 square feet, the H-E-B Plano store will showcase all the quality products and innovative services H-E-B customers have come to love and expect...” the release states.
The store will also include a True Texas BBQ restaurant with a drive-thru.
The store, located at 6001 Preston Road in Plano, will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
The chain opened its first H-E-B store in the DFW Metroplex market last month with a location in Frisco.
On opening day, hundreds of people lined up as a marching band performed for them.
H-E-B previously announced that it has started construction on stores in McKinney and Allen, and there are plans for a store in Mansfield.
There are six Central Market locations in the DFW Metroplex.
