SAN ANTONIO – As Texans still deal with Tropical Storm Harvey, chilling drone footage displays the destruction when it made landfall as the first major hurricane to hit the United States in more than a decade.
Harvey’s impact left homes flattened, major buildings and businesses destroyed, and deadly flooding in cities such as Houston, Rockport and Port Aransas.

At least five deaths and more than a dozen injuries have been reported in the aftermath of Harvey, one confirmed from Rockport where the below drone footage was captured.

Since making landfall Friday evening as a Category 4 Hurricane near Rockport, Texas, Harvey continues to wreak havoc as a tropical storm dropping heavy rain and causing major flooding in eastern Texas, most notably in Houston.
As Houston, the nation’s fourth-largest city, braces for more rain and flooding, victims of Hurricane Harvey from Rockport and Port Aransas are left with rebuilding what’s left of their town.

Despite drones being used in affected areas, the Federal Aviation Administration said in a tweet it does not want users "to fly drones in the aftermath of Harvey" and to allow first responders to work.
