Some of the topics are how brain and emotions work, sleeping disorders, ADHD and how to communicate with teens.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Abigail Baird of Vassar College. Local entrepreneur Eliot Garza grew up undiagnosed with learning disabilities and was inspired when he first visited the school.

"I went to that career day two years ago, I saw a lot of the same challenges that these kids have as well.

It hit home to where I know these kids are extremely intelligent, the reinforcements there, I wish I would have had a school like that growing up," Garza said.

Garza will also speak about smart financial decisions that teens will have to make when they turn 18 years old.
