SAN ANTONIO – A lottery ticket worth $5 million was recently sold on the East Side, the Texas Lottery announced on Wednesday.

The winner claimed the prize in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game called Ultimate Millions.

Lottery officials said the winner claimed the first of three top prizes worth $5 million available in the game.

The Texas Lottery said the winning ticket was sold at Stanley’s Ice House in the 2400 block of East Commerce Street. The store is eligible for a $10,000 retailer bonus.

The overall odds of winning any prize in Ultimate Millions is one in 3.16, according to the Texas Lottery. 

An individual ticket costs $50 with prizes starting at $75 and 30 chances to win.
