I saw a story on KSAT this morning about a mom who left her kids in a locked car. Obviously, doing that is very dangerous for those kids. It reminds me of an experiment I did last summer. During last summer's heat wave I successfully baked chocolate chip cookies on the dashboard of my car. It got as high as 170° in my car while the cookies were baking.
