SeaWorld San Antonio is celebrating the rich and diverse cultural heritage of South Texas as it meets the sea at its Fiesta del Mar event.
For two weekends only, SeaWorld San Antonio will come alive with vibrant colors, lights, flavors and activities for everyone.
Guests can hear the traditional sounds of local mariachi bands and say “¡Olé!” to exciting folklórico performances.
The Fiesta del Mar market offers themed merchandise, recuerdos (souvenirs), medals and flavorful snacks and drinks. This unforgettable celebration runs through Monday, Sept. 6, Labor Day.
Fiesta del Mar at SeaWorld San Antonio features
1) Fiesta del Mar fireworks
Feast your eyes on a Fiesta del Mar fireworks celebration.
It’s a spectacle that starts with a folkloric dance pre-show and continues with captivating flames, sparks and surprises, according to SeaWorld. This colorful pyrotechnic program takes place Fridays - Sundays at 8:50 p.m., at Bayside Stadium.
2) A Fiesta del Mar-inspired menu
Fans of Mexican and Latin food and drink can satisfy their taste buds with delectable street vendor food options from a Fiesta del Mar chef-created menu that includes nachos, tacos, tostadas, roasted corn, churros and mangonadas.
Plus, guests can quench their thirst with drinks like margaritas, beers and non-alcoholic beverages. The famous “chicken on a stick” also will be featured.
Looking for a fun job with amazing perks? SeaWorld says it’s hiring new ambassadors for roles in culinary services, operations, entertainment, merchandise and security.
