Here’s what’s going on in the San Antonio area in April:

  • Pixar Putt - Pixar Putt, an outdoor putt-putt course dedicated to all things Disney’s Pixar, is temporarily popping up April 1 - May 15 near Legacy Park. Some of the films showcased include “Toy Story,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.,” “Finding Nemo,” “Coco,” “A Bug’s Life,” “Wall-E,” and “Inside Out.”
  • San Antonio Spurs - The Spurs will be playing three home games in San Antonio in April. Games are scheduled for April 1, 3, 9. Go Spurs go!
  • Who Dat Nation of San Antonio 7th Annual Crawfish Boil - Get ready for an all-you-can-eat crawfish boil at Evil Olive on April 2.
  • On A Stick Festival - The San Antonio Zoo is hosting the On A Stick Festival again this year inspired by some of the best festivals in Texas. You can celebrate the foodie festivities every Saturday and Sunday from April 16-May 8.
  • J Balvin - Reggaeton superstar and Latin Grammy-winning artist J Balvin will be in performing at the AT&T Center on April 19. The singer is making the Alamo-City the first stop for his “José Tour 2022.”
  • Battle of the Boil - San Antonio’s biggest crawfish boil competition is back with the 2nd Annual Battle of the Boil, benefitting Saint City Culinary Foundation. This event is 21 and over and takes place on April 21 at the Espee Pavillion at St. Paul Square.
  • Jazz in the Garden - The Jazz In The Garden Spring Concert Series in the historic Japanese Tea Garden features live jazz music near the gazebo overlooking the beautiful koi pond, waterfall and garden. BillyRay Sheppard is scheduled to perform on April 22.
  • Poteet Strawberry Festival - The festival is set for April 22-24 at 9199 N State Hwy 16, in Poteet. Renowned country artists, including Sara Evans, Kevin Fowler and Randall King will be performing during the festival.
