New soda shop serves San Antonio-inspired “dranks”+ jalapeño popcorn

Drank is the newest soda shop in town

SAN ANTONIO – Many would agree a refreshing soda pop works in Texas all year long. Owner of Drank soda shop Roman Huerta tells SA Live he wanted to bring a shop back home to Texas that could serve a menu of creative fizzy concoctions.

“I had a chance to live in Utah and enjoy the outdoors for eight years and there I found the rise of soda shops I came back here for Thanksgiving and it was 80 degrees and I said it would be really nice to have a “drank,” Huerta said.

Now, Huerta’s family-owned business is open near TPC Parkway. Some of the fun drink names include “The Donkeylady,” “Edwards Aquifer,” and “Riverwalk”--this one has lavender in it.

“I’m really excited to be back in Texas and to put a Texas twist on the soda shop,” Huerta said.

Many of the drinks are customizable and there are diet options available. The shop is located at 2610 TPC Pkwy #109. They also have a drive-thru available. If you’re craving a snack with your “drank” they sell their signature jalapeño popcorn and Opal and Onyx (another local business) cookies.

Be sure to follow them on Instagram for deals and updates.
