SAN ANTONIO – Celebrity Chef Jason Dady’s newest restaurant, Range, is a new spin on a traditional steakhouse.
The former home of Lüke has been transformed to fit a new American aesthetic.
The tables are decorated with a fine dining flare, but Dady sees Range as a steakhouse for every occasion.
“The idea was just to bring a more casual approach to what we think is the American steakhouse or chop house,” Dady said.
Dady spoke about his recent social media exchange with TV star Mario Lopez saying, “The stories out there right now are pretty humorous but we’ve had a great time and a great opening.”
The publicity surrounding their exchange has brought attention to the chef’s newest restaurant but the food speaks for itself.
There are multiple steak options on the menu ranging from a 44 Farms 10-ounce sirloin coulotte to their 44 Farms 16 ounce dry-aged NY strip.
The Iron Chef Gauntlet star has more Food Network spots coming out in the future including being featured on the hit show Beat Bobby Flay on November 2.
Range is located at 125 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78205 and is open Monday through Saturday at 11 a.m. and Sundays at 10 a.m.
