SAN ANTONIO – James Bittle has a van full of Western Conference Finals Spurs shirts. He said Academy stores just can't keep them on the tables.
"They already had 4 straight trucks go out just today. The fourth time if they win again we'll be doing it all over again ha, ha, ha," said Bittle.
Being in Spurs country, it's no wonder fans just can't get enough.
One Academy on the south side had just about all the Spurs stuff you could imagine except "we sold our of our caps fairly quickly but we are getting replenished tomorrow," Academy Store Director David Cherry.
Diehard fans were already styling their gear first thing Tuesday.
Joseph Sanchez, a big Spurs fan, said, "It was so important to me, I actually got in line about 8:30 last night before the game even ended ."
Joseph Sanchez had the western conference hat and shirt the winning team wore in the locker room last night. He's looking forward to buying the gear that says Spurs are the NBA World Champions.
"This is my third championship I'm going to witness so bring on the heat bring on the pacers whoever it's going to be," said Sanchez.
Others say luck is on the team's side and will go all the way.
Ray Gibbons another Spurs fan said, "I think it's time for the spurs to win Tim Duncan was 31 last time. I just have a feeling it's their time."
