SAN ANTONIO – The University of Texas football players received their first look at their renovated locker room on Wednesday.
The remodel originally started back in April and the program has been offering sneak peaks ever since.

The new lockers cost nearly $10,000 apiece and feature 43-inch TV screens along with player highlights and bios.

New head football coach Tom Herman swung the first sledgehammer on demolition day.
Both current and former Longhorns tweeted about the new facilities, which now compare favorably to the rest of the programs around the country.

Junior defensive back Kris Boyd tweeted out a picture of his reaction that has since gone viral.
The 2017 Texas Longhorns begin their season by hosting the Maryland Terrapins on Sept. 2. They were picked 4th in the preseason Big 12 media poll and began fall practice on Monday.
Last season, the team went 5-7 before head coach Charlie Strong was eventually replaced.
