AUSTIN, Texas – Could a vote by students at the University of Texas-Austin bring back the beloved UT/Texas A&M football game? That is the goal for the new student body president and vice president.
“We have had conversations with University leadership throughout the summer, and now it is your chance to have your voice heard and help bring back this UT tradition!” Alejandrina Guzman and Micky Wolf said in a letter to students.

Students will be voting on two issues in a campus-wide vote on Wednesday.
The two teams last played in 2011 before Texas A&M left the Big 12 Conference for the SEC. UT won that game 27-25.
For those who might have forgotten, the Longhorns lead the series 76-37-5.
